Best Way to Hard Boil Eggs

Happy Easter!!


I've had a couple people ask how I hard boil eggs. My sister

told me about this one. I think she saw it on America's Test Kitchen.

I think.....


Put an inch of water in a pan. Bring water to a boil.

Put a small veggie steamer in the pan along with the eggs straight

from the refrigerator.

Cover. Lower temperature to medium low and steam for 13 minutes.

Put eggs into cold water (I use ice water) to stop cooking for 15 minutes.


If you are peeling them right away, put the eggs into a plastic container with

some water. cover and shake 40 times. Yes, they said 40 times...:)

Much of the shell should be removed.


If not peeling immediately, put in fridge.
